Description:

Zebra adhesive wrap has been brought in and is now stocked by special request for our zebra and medical categories for our incredible zebra community (all those with rare disease to help raise awareness while also having some fun, flair, funk, and great pizzazz!)

Those with sensitive skin who are allergic to many of the adhesive bandages currently on the market, this is for you - well — actually it’s for everyone honestly!!

The best thing about this wrap is that it’s just that — it wraps and holds itself together on its own, and not on you! No more adhesive allergies or broken down skin!

Do you have sensitive skin or struggle with adhesives on your skin (for any number of reasons)? Do you find that often adhesives haven’t stuck like they should? Be it a medicated patch or just a bandage?

The great thing about this wrap is how it sticks to itself without sticking to the receiver and can be easily tightened or loosened off! You can also change the tensile strength and direction based on how you pop the adhesive wrap on. No pulled hairs, no broken down skin, no medicated patches to fall off, and no raw or unhappy skin. Finally a bandage that will stick to itself and the great thing is that you can reapply and re-stick it many times over and it will continue to keep on sticking itself back together again, while still not sticking directly onto your skin! It is also easy to tear, so no sharps or scissors needed!

And even better? YES!! It is latex free (tried & tested)

Details:

Material: Non woven elastic spandex

Size: 5cm wide x 450cm in length

Weight: 15 grams

Package includes:  1x roll of ‘latex free’ zebra wrap

How to use:

1. It’s easy to hold and tear it at the length of where you need it. No scissors or sharp objects needed.

2. Choose where you want to place the wrap, hold the first part to the skin (or object you’re using), and then make the first wrap around loop. Press it together to help create an adhesive stick. You can now go ahead and wrap as you feel is needed - length, strength and how tight it is. Once satisfied, tear off the excess tape.

3. If used tape is in somewhat good condition, you can put it aside and have it ready for use next time!

Why the zebra?

Zebras are the mascot for rare disease and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS). Why? Because often when doctors are in medical school, they are taught a saying which says “when you hear hoof-boots - think horses not zebras, because horses are common and zebras are rare, ie: think of the common things, not the rare ones. But because of this, often along the way, doctors can forget that zebras still exist! Just because it is often a horse, doesn’t mean that it can't be a zebra, and that zebras don't still exist! This is why the zebra is the mascot to help raise awareness. Further to that — every zebra is unique with its own stripes, and even though its stripes are different to the next persons, doesn’t mean that it’s still not a zebr'a. Ie: Just because my symptoms are different to the person next to someone else's, doesn’t mean it’s not a zebra. It can look different from one person to the next, as it depends on what is most affected for each person…. but it’s still a zebra. And zebras really do exist!
